Sometimes I forget that creativity also needs silence, not just inspiration. There were weeks when I showed up, but nothing I made felt right. I thought I was being lazy — but I was just empty. You know that kind of frustration right? Sitting in front of your laptop or notebook, nothing coming out no matter how much you tried. I tried writing but it didn’t came out as I wanted it to be so I switched mediums. I finally started picking up my camera again — just for fun — and it brought back the joy that I lost. Shooting anything that caught my eye, without thinking much about the technicalities, felt refreshing. In the end you find something wonderful in simply creating for your own sake. And when you do, the art speaks for itself. A creative reset doesn’t erase progress; it reminds you why you started. You’ll learn that no matter how small it is, progress is still progress. Don’t forget the input — because if there’s too much output without renewal, you’ll crash in no time.

Creativity isn’t a straight line. It breathes.

It needs pauses as much as pushes.

Maybe reset isn’t about doing nothing — it’s about making space for something new to arrive.

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to reset creatively?
